Andrés Lima develops his artistic work primarily through research and exploration of various landscapes and territories linked to a fractured historical past. His main means of approach include video, visual essay, photography, and cinematic journeys.
In his recent individual projects, he has made the research process a fundamental element in the staging of the artwork or project, understanding it as a mutable and ever-changing field of exploration. It is within this logic that real documents, found photographs, texts from different origins, publications, and cinematic works by other authors coexist.
